Public swimming pools in Dublin: There are two 50 metre Olympic sized pools

The public can access several swimming pools in different parts of Dublin.

A number of swimming pools are scattered all around Dublin. While several hotels have their own, but small, swimming facilities, Ben Dunne Gyms (Carlisle, Northwood, Westpoint) provide 25 metre-long pools.

This is the type very common in the city of Dublin. In fact, only National Aquatic Centre and University College Dublin (UCD) offer enthusiastic swimmers 50-metre-long pools, which are open to the public.
