Bruxelles sur Scènes 2026: find your new favourite Brussels music night

Babylon Radio
Listen nowA jazz trio in a tiny café, a singer telling stories a few steps from your table, or a new neighbourhood discovered on the way to a show: Bruxelles sur Scènes runs from 1 to 30 November 2026, turning Brussels’ intimate performance spaces into an invitation to explore.
The festival programme brings together music, comedy, theatre and chanson across 13 participating cultural operators. For someone new to Brussels, its appeal is more personal than a big arena night. You can find a room you like, hear something unfamiliar and build a favourite evening spot into your life in the city.
Choose the sound of your first evening
Start with the performance rather than trying to complete the whole festival. Instrumental jazz is a welcoming entry point if you are still finding your feet in French. A chanson or comedy evening offers a different pleasure: listening to the rhythms, stories and humour of the city around you.
One appealing option is Trio Pol y Crom at Café de la Rue on Saturday 21 November at 20:00. The venue’s 2026 programme describes original compositions by Paul Prignot, played on acoustic guitar, harmonica and double bass. Jazz, folk and other acoustic influences meet in a set that moves between intimate passages and livelier grooves.
Make a longer evening of it by reserving the optional meal at 19:00: quiche and salad, priced separately at €14. The concert alone is listed at €20 without the festival pass, with reduced prices for students and jobseekers. That gives you a useful comparison if you are choosing between one outing and several November visits.
Earlier in the month, the same venue hosts the Cavaliere, Dardenne and Dille trio on Friday 13 November at 20:00. Violin, acoustic guitar and accordion carry a programme mixing original music with Django Reinhardt pieces. Choose between the two Café de la Rue evenings for your single venue coupon.
How the €25 festival pass works
The organiser’s pass guide lists a €25 pass for 13 performances, using one coupon per participating operator. It is not unlimited entry to every show. Each coupon covers one person at one performance, with a reservation.
Buy the pass online, book your chosen shows directly with the relevant venues, then exchange the e-ticket for a paper pass at your first performance. Hand over that venue’s coupon when you arrive. The pass is not personalised, so it can be shared. This makes it useful for friends whose musical tastes or free evenings do not always match.
A handy detail for jazz fans
There are two participating organisers at Jazz Station: Jazz Station itself and Les Lundis d’Hortense. The latter’s 21 October festival announcement explains that pass holders can therefore attend two concerts there, using the separate organiser coupons.
Les Lundis d’Hortense lists festival concerts on 11, 19 and 26 November. Jazz Station’s own allocation covers its Friday, Saturday and Sunday concerts during November. Reserve the particular concert through the booking link in the announcement after buying your pass.
Turn a concert into a new local habit
Pick two or three evenings that genuinely appeal to you, invite someone along and leave time to enjoy the surrounding neighbourhood. A small venue can make an unfamiliar city feel more approachable: you return for another artist, recognise the room and gradually find your own cultural map.
For spoken-word shows, use the individual listing to choose the language that suits you. For your first visit, the simplest plan is often the best: a sound you enjoy, a reserved seat and an evening free from rushing.
